ADOPTED! Molly

ADOPTED! Molly

Molly has found her forever home!

Our featured animal of the month is Molly!

Molly is such a loving and sweet cat! With her gentle, quiet soul it may take her a minute to feel comfortable but once she does, she just wanted to be near her humans. She really enjoys getting loves and pets along being brushed. She has a lovely muted meow that she doesn’t use often. She is as beautiful, with bright green eyes & wonderful tiger tabby markings on her face.

She’s still a curious senior and like to play with toy mice and balls. She is good with older children that are respectful. She also likes other cats. She has always been with her brother, Pete, so they must be adopted together. They would prefer a quiet home where they will be loved and cherished forever cats.

Animals are not placed on a first come, first serve basis.  CAWS strives to find the perfect match for all of our animals.

Our adoptable animal for January is Emma!

Looking for love and a nice couch to snooze on… Emma is a 5 year old, 50 pound Pit Bull. Emma loves to meet new people, especially if they have treats! She gets the zoomies when she is excited to see you and will race around the house when you come home. Emma does well with other dogs, but needs proper introduction and time to decompress to live happily. Tug of war is her favorite game, next to a good wrestling match with the other dogs! Emma likes to snuggle and sometimes forgets that she isn’t a tiny lap dog! Emma does not like cats. She LOVES kids and is very calm even around high energy. Emma walks beautifully on leash and is very in tune to her handler. She is house and crate trained. She has some food allergies and will need to be on a high quality food and daily medication. Her allergies are not anything to be concerned by! There are many foods in varying price points that she does well on. Emma is an easy going girl once settled into a new environment. She needs a little patience and a lot of love, and when given those, Emma will gladly be your soulmate and couch-mate for years to come.

All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $150. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at caws.org.

Our adoptable animal for February is Abbey!

Hi, my name is Abbey and I’m sure you’ll agree I have the most adorable face. I am very independent most of the time but when I am ready for attention, I love to curl up on your lap or next to you and take a nap. I am really sweet girl but sometimes I like to have alone time. I never bite or scratch though, I just find a quiet corner to be by myself. I’ll choose attention and love over playing every time.

Our adoptable animal for March is Duckie!

If you are looking for a low maintenance, easy going cat, I’m your gal! I enjoy spending time with you but understand if you are busy. I love to be petted and brushed and will ” quack” when I talk. I’m best as an only cat so I can have your undivided attention. Sleeping next to you (or even on you) is my favorite time.

Our featured adoptable animal for April is Lady!

Lady is a sweet and fun girl who loves to snuggle. She is a 6 year old, 50 pound Pit Bull. She knows basic commands, is kennel trained and dog door trained. A little timid around new people but she does warm up quickly and then is incredibly loving. Lady thinks she is a lap dog at times and wants to be up close to you. She has to have a blanket or pillow on the floor to sleep on, like the princess she is! Lady is good with children. Some of her favorite things include belly rubs, giving kisses and taking walks. Lady does need to be the only pet in the home. If you are interested in adding a loving companion to your family, look no further!

Our featured adoptable animal of the month is Luna!

Luna is a 3 year old beautiful Blue Pit bull. She is a total people dog and loves kids! She will need to be an only pet, because she has so much love to give her people! She does not like cats or other dogs. Luna is currently being fostered by the trainer and owner of The Loyal Canine Inc. She has been working on socialization, manners on leash, crate training, walks on the treadmill, and basic obedience and is doing great! Luna is a pretty lazy gal and loves squishy dog beds. She has her puppy like moments as well and loves to play and roll around on the grass.

Luna has severe allergies that were not previously taken care of. We now are working through them but it will be an on going process and she is on a strict diet.

Luna is looking for a family who will give her the attention she deserves. Someone patient, a good leader, and is willing to work on her allergies. She is worth it!! She loves her people and really wants to please. She loves walks and going out and about with you to explore the world. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Included in her adoption fee is her free initial go home training to make sure she gets off to the right start in her forever home.
